Frequently asked questions

General

No.

ReadyCMS is built on a complex architecture with multiple servers having different technologies for maximum performance.

We mentioned that we are focused on your growth, but we also need to mention that switching to ReadyCMS can actually save you money. Here's how:

  • You don't need to pay extra for custom CMS development.
  • No maintenance expenses. We got it covered.
  • No backup expences. Our system does it for you.
  • Most of the important features are already in the system.
  • Special discounts for high-performance servers for your website.
  • Free SSL certificate for our hosting.

In general - yes. Most of the features are free, and you can start using them right away, but some features may depend on your subscription plan.

We will make sure that the CMS is constantly updated with new features, so you can start benefiting from them.

Launch your new website faster!

There is no need to set up and develop everything from scratch so you can have your new website ready for the public.
With our CMS as your main content management platform, you can focus on building a website, not setting up, installing, and developing features in admin panel like WordPress or other platforms.

If you are launching a new website just to test your product or an idea. This platform is perfect for you.

You will spend less on development

We cut the cost of development also. Most of the features you will need are already built-in so you can have new features on the website faster, with no extra cost.

Worry less about maintenance

You must have heard about updates, backups, and website monitoring. Well, we want to take that worry away so you can focus on your business, and not worry about things like website version updates, backups, or even having your system down.

ReadyCMS is headed to be the main platform for all your content needs.

Our team of UX designers is working with developers, testers, and clients to improve the usability of the platform.

You don't have to be a developer to use the system, although, you will need a developer, or an agency to implement and connect the features with your website or mobile application.

If you are building a website from scratch, you will need to get help from a developer, or an agency.

If you are not happy with some features or you want to suggest some changes, feel free to contact us.

ReadyCMS is a versatile content management system designed specifically for eCommerce, offering a range of tools and features to streamline online business operations.

ReadyCMS is a versatile content management system designed specifically for eCommerce, offering a range of tools and features to streamline online business operations.

While ReadyCMS is designed to be user-friendly and intuitive for content management and daily operations, building a website or an app would require a developer's expertise. The platform streamlines content creation and management, but when it comes to setting up a website or developing an app, technical knowledge is essential to leverage the full capabilities of ReadyCMS.

ReadyCMS isn't positioned as the cheapest option — it's positioned as the practical one for stores that have outgrown simple webshops. Pricing depends on store size, required features, integrations, hosting needs and support level. What changes versus Shopify is the shape of the cost: platform capabilities are built in rather than assembled from per-app subscriptions, and advanced features aren't gated behind an enterprise tier.
ReadyCMS powers stores with more than 75,000 SKUs and manages over 170,000 products across the platform. Large catalogs are a core design constraint, not an edge case — including variants, custom attributes, multi-location inventory and bulk tools to manage it all.
SEO preservation is part of the migration plan: SEO metadata transfers with your products and pages, and URL redirects are mapped so existing rankings and backlinks keep working after switchover.
Most operational apps map to built-in ReadyCMS features: product feeds (16 channels), bulk editing (28 XLSX tools), abandoned-cart recovery, loyalty points, subscriptions, reviews, reporting and courier integrations. During discovery we map every app you rely on to its ReadyCMS equivalent — and tell you honestly if something needs custom work.
ReadyCMS is a full CMS as well as a commerce platform — blog, pages, media library, SEO management and multi-language content are built in, so most stores consolidate everything in one place. If you have a strong reason to keep WordPress for content, the API-first architecture makes hybrid setups possible; we'll advise honestly on whether that's worth the complexity for your case.
Customer data and order history can be migrated depending on the structure and quality of your existing data — that's assessed during discovery. The goal is continuity: your team keeps its history, and your customers keep their accounts.
Compare against WooCommerce's total cost, not its license cost: hosting, premium extensions, security work, speed optimization and developer maintenance. ReadyCMS pricing depends on store size, features, integrations and support level — we define the right setup based on real operational needs rather than forcing every business into the same plan. For many growing stores the totals are comparable; what changes is what you get for it and who carries the maintenance.
It depends on products, variations, image volume, data quality, integrations and SEO requirements. A simple store can be planned quickly; a large catalog with B2B logic and integrations gets a structured discovery and implementation phase with a realistic timeline up front.
They solve it differently. WordPress is a content CMS and WooCommerce adds commerce as a plugin on top — with the plugin stack that follows. ReadyCMS is commerce-first and headless, with catalog, checkout, B2B, feeds and analytics native to the platform. If your specific question is about WooCommerce, see ReadyCMS vs WooCommerce.
Yes — ReadyCMS is a full CMS, so posts, pages, media and SEO metadata migrate over and live alongside your store. Most businesses consolidate content and commerce in one place; URL redirects preserve your existing rankings.
The business tools most WordPress sites add via plugins — SEO, multilingual, analytics, e-commerce, security — are built into ReadyCMS and updated with the platform by our team. ReadyCMS plugins are activated, not installed and maintained by you.
ReadyCMS runs as a managed platform with automatic patches, WAF monitoring, uptime checks and isolated tenant instances — reducing the attack surface that outdated WordPress plugins and themes are known for. Security is handled for you, not assembled from plugins.
For the large majority of growing and mid-market stores, yes — large catalogs (75,000+ SKUs in production), B2B pricing, ERP sync, feeds and bulk tools are all native. Magento still wins at the very top of the enterprise market where budget and a dedicated dev team justify its depth; we’ll tell you honestly which side of that line you’re on.
Maintenance moves to us. ReadyCMS runs on managed infrastructure with Cloudflare CDN, automatic patches, WAF monitoring and isolated instances — no upgrade projects, no specialist hosting to keep alive.
A practical fraction of it. Migration is scoped in discovery with a realistic timeline — weeks for most stores, rather than the multi-quarter timelines enterprise Magento builds are known for.
During discovery we map your customizations to built-in features or planned integration work, and flag honestly anything that needs custom development.
We agree on the principle — the difference is specificity and fit. ReadyCMS names the tools (16 feed channels, 28 bulk tools, courier integrations with label printing, weekly audits), leads on local and regional integrations, and implements the platform with you rather than pointing to a partner directory.
No — like BigCommerce, ReadyCMS adds no platform transaction fees. You pay your payment gateway’s processing fees only.
ReadyCMS pricing is scoped to your store’s real needs — size, features, integrations and support — rather than annual online-sales bands that force a tier change purely because you grew.
Yes — migration is handled as a structured project by our team and can include products, customers, order history, SEO metadata and redirects, depending on your data.
Yes — regional fit is a ReadyCMS strength: regional payment gateways, courier integrations with label printing and tracking, fiscal receipts and VAT validation, implemented with you. You keep the European strength and gain managed hosting and one accountable team.
Most map to built-in features: feeds (16 channels), bulk editing (28 tools), B2B pricing, cart recovery, loyalty and security. During discovery we map every module you rely on — and flag honestly anything that needs custom work.
We do. ReadyCMS runs on managed infrastructure with Cloudflare CDN, automatic patches, WAF monitoring and isolated instances — no servers or module updates to babysit.
Yes, depending on your data — products, customers, order history, SEO metadata and redirects are assessed and migrated during a structured project.
Yes — ReadyCMS is headless, so design is entirely in your hands or ours; you can build any storefront, including matching your current look. The difference is the commerce engine behind the design.
If expansion means a larger catalog, wholesale customers, feeds or real integrations, a design-first builder becomes the bottleneck. Moving before you hit the ceiling avoids a rushed replatform later.
No — ReadyCMS is a full CMS. Posts, pages, media and SEO metadata migrate over and live alongside the store, with redirects preserving rankings.
Yes — products, content, images, customers and SEO metadata can be migrated depending on your data, handled as a structured project by our team.
No — ReadyCMS is API-first and headless, so you can build any storefront design you want, including recreating the look you have. What you gain is the commerce engine behind it: real catalog scale, B2B, feeds and integrations.
It’s a more capable platform, so there’s more under the hood — but setup is handled with you as a structured project, not left as a DIY task. Day-to-day, business teams manage products and content in a modern admin.
When the builder starts saying no: catalog limits, no real B2B pricing, weak feeds, constrained checkout, or integrations you can’t make work. That’s the signal you’ve outgrown a builder and need a commerce platform.
Yes — products, images, content pages, customers and SEO metadata can be migrated depending on your data, with redirects to preserve rankings.
Potentially yes — ReadyCMS is headless and API-first, so it can serve as the commerce backend behind a front end you design elsewhere. During discovery we’ll advise on the cleanest architecture for your case.
If your commerce is light — a few products alongside a marketing site — Webflow may be plenty. If you need real catalog scale, B2B pricing, feeds, courier integrations and checkout control, that’s beyond a design-led builder, and where ReadyCMS fits.
No — the opposite. Headless means total design freedom; you’re not constrained by storefront templates. You gain the commerce depth without giving up the front end.
Yes — products, content, images, customers and SEO metadata can be migrated depending on your data, handled as a structured project with redirects to preserve rankings.
Yes — ReadyCMS exposes a clean REST API over both content and commerce, so you build any frontend in any framework. The difference is that commerce (catalog, checkout, orders, B2B) is built in rather than integrated from separate services.
Every extra service is another integration, vendor and point of failure. ReadyCMS models content and runs commerce in one platform, so you maintain one system and one API instead of stitching several together.
It’s a full CMS: blog, pages, media library, multi-language, plus headless custom fields with validation exposed through the API. For content-led products with no commerce, a dedicated content platform may still suit you better — we’ll say so honestly.
Generally yes — because ReadyCMS is API-first, your frontend can point at it the way it points at Contentful today. During discovery we advise on the cleanest path.
Strapi’s licence is free; running it is not. Self-hosting, security, scaling, and building commerce on top are real engineering costs. ReadyCMS bundles managed infrastructure and a full commerce engine, so the comparison is total cost and time-to-market, not licence price.
You trade total codebase control for a platform with a clean API, headless custom fields and integrations. For most commerce teams that’s a good trade — you keep frontend freedom and gain commerce and infra. If you truly need to own the backend code, Strapi may fit better.
Yes — headless custom fields and field groups with validation, exposed through the API, cover most modeling needs alongside the built-in blog, pages, media and multi-language.
ReadyCMS does — managed infrastructure with Cloudflare CDN, WAF monitoring, uptime checks and isolated instances. With self-hosted Strapi, that’s your team’s responsibility.
Yes — a clean REST API over content and commerce, so you build any frontend. The difference is commerce (catalog, checkout, orders, B2B) is built in rather than integrated from separate services.
ReadyCMS has a full content admin — blog, pages, media, multi-language and headless custom fields. For purely editorial products where the studio experience is the core value, a dedicated content platform may still fit better, and we’ll say so.
Running a content studio and a separate store means two systems, two APIs and an integration to maintain. ReadyCMS models content and runs commerce in one platform — one system, one API.
Generally yes — because ReadyCMS is API-first, your frontend can consume it much like it consumes Sanity today. We advise on the cleanest path during discovery.
A traditional CMS manages content and maybe products. A conversion CMS is built around turning that traffic into revenue — it adds discovery, checkout optimization, marketing, analytics, personalization and integrations as core parts of one system, not add-ons.
It’s a description of how the platform is designed. The difference is that conversion and growth tools are built in and connected to commerce and content — rather than living in separate apps that don’t share data.
No. Business teams get tools to manage, understand and grow the store; developers get a flexible foundation and APIs. Both work from the same platform without forcing a tech-stack change.
A short demo is the fastest way — we walk your store’s use cases through the real admin and show exactly where conversion and growth improve.
Perfect — Tools connect that workflow to your store. Export from your ERP, upload to ReadyCMS. No middleware, no API keys, no technical setup.
The preview step shows exactly what will change before anything is applied. Rows with bad data are highlighted and skipped automatically. You review, then confirm.
Tools process files in background chunks regardless of size — 78,000-row files have been tested and processed without timeouts.
That’s the point — you don’t anymore. Tools are designed for store managers, not developers. Download a template, fill it, preview, submit.
Only when something warrants it. If all 50 checks pass, you see a clean state — no cards. That's a good outcome, not a missing feature.
Hidden cards aren't permanently dismissed — they re-evaluate the following week. If the issue is still present, the card returns. If you've resolved it, it stays hidden.
Yes. Recommendations runs against your existing store data with no configuration required.
The “Misleading product titles” check uses AI to review product titles for clickbait language that overpromises and erodes trust. It's the only AI check — the rest are data-driven.
Monitoring tools tell you when something breaks. Assistants tell you about things that haven't broken yet — SMTP credentials misconfigured but untested, inventory about to run out, campaigns not set up for success. Different layer, different timing.
No. The priority queue and dismiss memory ensure you only see what matters, when it matters. Most pages, most of the time, no assistant fires at all. When one does, it's earned its way through three gates: the issue is real, it's the highest priority pending, and you haven't already dismissed it.
The team watches both ecommerce and non-ecommerce aspects — SMTP, 2FA, media storage and content quality apply to every ReadyCMS install. The commerce-specific characters (Maria, Martha) add their checks when ecommerce is active.
Recommendations is the scheduled weekly audit — 50 checks every Friday, reviewed at a desk. Assistants are contextual and immediate, firing while you work. Together they cover both rhythms.
It's a working session. We spend the time in the actual admin on your use cases — and if ReadyCMS isn't the right fit for your store, we'll say so. The honest-scoping habit starts before you're a customer.
Whoever will live in the platform: the person who manages the catalog, whoever runs marketing channels, and a developer if you have integrations. Mixed groups make the demo dramatically more useful.
Nothing is required — but three things make it sharper: your rough catalog size, your current platform and plugin/app list, and the one workflow that wastes the most of your team's time.
Yes, plus the delivery side: how implementation works with your team, isolated client instances, and the Certified Partner Program terms.
No — your current store keeps running while data is migrated and the new store is built and tested. The switchover itself is planned for a low-traffic window, with redirects active from the first minute.
The migration is handled by the implementation team, not left to you. Where platform access allows, we work directly with your data; where it doesn't, we'll tell you exactly what export we need and validate it together.
Messy data is normal — duplicate products, inconsistent attributes, orphaned images. Discovery includes a data-quality review, and the migration plan covers what gets cleaned, what gets mapped, and what's genuinely better re-created. You'll know before we start.
ReadyCMS has built-in integrations for couriers, payment gateways, ERP and fiscal systems, and marketing tools — plus a REST API for custom connections. During discovery we map each integration you rely on to its ReadyCMS equivalent, and scope custom work honestly where needed.
