1) Major updates

⚙️ Back office performance update

The first thing we ought to talk about is the back office and the extensive improvements to its performance.

We've once again pushed the limit of the back office's overall performance and responsiveness, so users noticed the difference immediately after the update was released!

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the value of these enhancements.

❕ Why is this important?

Our analytics reveal that clients' users collectively spend nearly 500 hours monthly on ReadyCMS. A slow or unresponsive platform would impact their productivity and satisfaction.

With this update, we're ensuring that our users can work efficiently, making every moment spent on ReadyCMS as smooth as possible and reducing their workload as much as possible.

🔒 Redesigned password format

We've updated our password requirements to enhance usability while maintaining security. This change was driven by client feedback—some users found the previous requirements too restrictive, leading to difficulties during sign-up and password creation.

In response, we tailored the requirements to meet the needs of different user types, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive—they're pleased to see their requests implemented.

• ADMIN USERS:
  the (unchanged) password requirements maintain a high-security standard: passwords must contain at least 1 lowercase and 1 uppercase alphabetical character, 1 special character, and 1 numeric character and be at least 16 characters long
• WEBSITE USERS:
  these NEW requirements are now simpler than before, with a minimum length of 8 characters and no additional prerequisites, making it easier for users to set and remember their passwords

🖼️ Image Resizer plugin update

We've upgraded the Image Resizer plugin to improve its handling of transparent PNGs. This ensures that resized images maintain high quality without any background artifacts.

💭 This isn't just a fix—it's a valuable enhancement made with our clients in mind.

For many of our users, particularly those who may not be tech-savvy, this tool simplifies preparing great-quality images for website catalogs and online shops. Now, it's easier than ever for employees across different departments to resize and optimize product images, ensuring that their websites look polished and visually appealing without requiring advanced design skills.

📂 CSV data export improvement

We've enhanced the data export functionality to work faster and more reliably, especially for large exports.

Previously, there were rare instances where large exports containing substantial amounts of data could encounter issues that would cause the export process to crash. Although these occurrences were uncommon, we wanted to ensure a crash-free experience for all our users.

🛠️ With this update, we've resolved crashing issues, making large data exports more stable and efficient. Now, you can confidently export extensive datasets without interruptions, ensuring your data management processes are smooth and hassle-free.

🛒 APL Product Manager plugin updates

We've introduced two key enhancements to make managing your products even easier:

• 'Sale price' updates: You can now directly update sale prices through the APL Product Manager, simplifying price adjustments during promotions or sales.
• 'Attribute import' functionality: To streamline product management, we've added a new attribute import feature, allowing you to quickly import and organize product attributes.

🔑 Sign-in page redesign 
Made minor visual updates to the sign-in page for a cleaner, more user-friendly experience.

🐞 Menu language selection bug fix
Resolved a minor issue in the menu editor that affected language selection.

🛠️ API service and back office enhancements
Minor bug fixes and stability improvements for a more reliable API service and back office experience.

✉️ Email view has a new Print button
We have added a print button in the View email section, allowing you to easily print email content from within ReadyCMS.
