Once an order is marked as Completed, ReadyCMS waits for a specified number of days (configured by you) and then sends a follow-up email with a friendly reminder and a call to action to rate your service.

You can fully customize the email tone and message to suit your brand, whether it's professional, friendly, or playful. ReadyCMS handles the logic, timing, and sending behind the scenes.

The email content can be customized on the Email Templates page, rather than in the plugin settings.

Once you activate the plugin, ReadyCMS listens for orders marked as Complete.

When an order gets completed, it starts a countdown (based on your setup for how many days later the email should go out).

When the time comes, a custom email with your message and a CTA to rate the experience is sent automatically.

Now, you can monitor the results through your preferred analytics or review tools.

Guide

1. Find the plugin: Go to the Plugins page and find the plugin.
2. Configure: Set the number of days after order completion for the follow-up email (1-90 days), and activate the plugin.
3. Customize: Go to the Email templates page, find the 'Rate us' template, activate it, and customize the text (choose your tone, style, and message).
4. All done: ReadyCMS takes care of sending and timing the email automatically.

Q1: How many days after the order can I send the reminder?

A1: You can choose any delay from 1 to 90 days (default 7), based on your business needs.

Q2: Can I customize the email content?

A2: Absolutely. You can write and design the email template to match your professional, casual, or friendly tone. Go to the Email templates page to edit the template and change tone, message, and CTA.

Q3: Where does the CTA link go?

A3: The default CTA links to Trustpilot. But if you edit the template, you can define the destination, whether it's your internal rating system, a product review form, or another platform.

Q4: Is this plugin free?

A4: Yes, this plugin is included with ReadyCMS at no additional cost.

Q5: What happens if a customer places multiple orders?

A5: Based on your configured timing, a new reminder email is triggered after each order is marked as complete.

Q6: Why aren't my emails sending?

A6: Make sure the customized email template is activated. You can find the On/Off toggle at the top of the template page. Templates are disabled by default, so you must switch the setting from 🚫 to active before emails can be sent.
