New ReadyCMS pricing: Plans that scale with your commerce

NE

ReadyCMS has changed a lot over the years.

What started as a flexible content management platform has grown into a broader commerce system — covering content, ecommerce operations, APIs, integrations, analytics, automation, inventory intelligence, conversion tools, and an expanding plugin ecosystem.

Our pricing needed to catch up.

Today, we’re introducing a new ReadyCMS pricing structure built around a simple idea:

Your platform should scale with your business — not with arbitrary product or record limits.

The new pricing makes it easier to understand which ReadyCMS plan fits your business today and what happens as your business grows.

And for our existing customers, there is one important thing to know before anything else:

Your current subscription and pricing are not changing.

The new pricing applies to new subscriptions.

Why we’re changing ReadyCMS pricing

Traditional SaaS and ecommerce pricing often relies on limits.

You might be allowed 1,000 products on one plan, 10,000 on another, a certain number of records, API requests, users, locations, or other resources.

Those limits make pricing tables easy to build.

But they don’t always make sense for the business using the platform.

A catalog with 50,000 products does not necessarily create more business value than one with 500 products. A company shouldn’t have to upgrade simply because it imported another batch of products or created more content records.

And we don’t think important tools should suddenly become available only because a customer moves to a more expensive plan.

We wanted ReadyCMS pricing to better reflect the actual scale of the business being supported.

So we’re moving away from arbitrary catalog and record limits as the primary way we differentiate ecommerce plans.

Instead, ReadyCMS Commerce pricing now scales primarily with the amount of commerce the platform supports.

Four simpler ReadyCMS plans

The new structure consists of four plans:

Core — €79/month

For websites, content and headless projects without ecommerce.

Core gives businesses and development teams the ReadyCMS platform to manage websites, structured content, and digital experiences.

It includes the CMS, headless API, and access to the ReadyCMS plugin ecosystem.

It’s designed for companies that want the ReadyCMS platform without operating an online store through it.

Commerce — €149/month

For ecommerce businesses with up to €200,000 in trailing-12-month GMV.

Commerce is now the main ReadyCMS ecommerce plan.

And importantly, it isn’t a stripped-down version of the platform designed to push customers into a more expensive tier.

Commerce includes the tools we believe modern ecommerce businesses actually need to operate and grow.

That includes capabilities such as:

  • product and catalog management;
  • inventory and order management;
  • checkout and commerce operations;
  • bulk ecommerce operations;
  • conversion and funnel intelligence;
  • campaign and UTM intelligence;
  • inventory intelligence;
  • sales and product reporting;
  • APIs and integrations; and
  • access to free and premium ReadyCMS plugins.

The goal is simple: when you choose ReadyCMS Commerce, you should have a serious ecommerce platform from day one.

Growth — from €299/month

For established ecommerce businesses processing more than €200,000 in trailing-12-month GMV.

Growth is not about unlocking a completely different ecommerce product.

It is about supporting the same ReadyCMS commerce platform at a larger commercial and operational scale.

Growth pricing currently scales across two bands:

Trailing 12-month GMV Monthly price
€200k–€1M €299
€1M–€2M €499
€2M+ Enterprise review

Growth customers also receive higher platform capacity and priority support appropriate for larger ecommerce operations.

This means a business doesn't have to worry that adding another 5,000 products will suddenly force it onto a different plan.

As the business grows, the commercial relationship grows with it.

Enterprise — from €999/month

Enterprise is designed for businesses where the requirements go beyond standard platform usage.

That may include:

  • significantly larger commerce operations;
  • dedicated or custom infrastructure;
  • specific capacity requirements;
  • contractual service levels;
  • dedicated support;
  • custom architecture;
  • complex integrations;
  • special security or compliance requirements; or
  • other non-standard commercial or technical requirements.

Reaching €2 million in trailing-12-month GMV triggers an Enterprise review, not an automatic forced migration.

Some businesses are operationally straightforward even at significant sales volumes. Others need a much more involved platform setup.

Enterprise lets us evaluate those requirements individually instead of pretending every large business needs the same package.

What is GMV?

For the new Commerce and Growth plans, the primary scaling metric is Gross Merchandise Volume, or GMV.

In simple terms, GMV represents the gross value of commerce transactions handled through ReadyCMS.

We use a trailing 12-month measurement rather than calendar-year revenue.

That means the system looks at the most recent 12 months continuously, so pricing reflects the current scale of the ecommerce operation rather than resetting every January.

GMV is based on commerce transactions processed, facilitated, created, or managed through ReadyCMS.

It can include product or service value, shipping, and applicable taxes and is calculated before deductions such as discounts, refunds, or returns.

It does not mean we look at all revenue your company generates.

Offline business unrelated to ReadyCMS does not determine your ReadyCMS plan.

Why use GMV instead of product limits?

Because we think it better reflects value.

Consider two stores.

One has:

40,000 products and €80,000 in annual ecommerce sales.

Another has:

400 products and €1.5 million in annual ecommerce sales.

A pricing model based primarily on product count would treat the first store as the larger customer. Commercially, that makes very little sense.

GMV lets us keep the platform flexible while aligning pricing more closely with the scale of the business ReadyCMS supports.

It also means we can avoid filling our pricing page with rules like:

10,000 products included

100,000 API calls included

5 users included

25,000 content records included

Those numbers may create convenient pricing fences, but they can also discourage customers from actually using the platform.

We would rather customers use ReadyCMS.

Full ecommerce capabilities without an artificial feature maze

Another important part of the change is what isn’t happening.

We’re not moving important ecommerce functionality into Growth simply to make the more expensive plan look different.

Features such as bulk operations, conversion intelligence, campaign insights, and inventory intelligence are valuable precisely because they help ecommerce businesses grow.

Restricting those tools until a business is already large would run counter to the platform's purpose.

So the difference between Commerce and Growth is primarily about business scale, capacity, and service level — not withholding the tools that help customers succeed.

Products and records aren’t the pricing model

ReadyCMS can support businesses with large catalogs and complex content structures.

We don’t want the number of products or ordinary content records to be the primary commercial constraint.

That does not mean infrastructure is literally unlimited.

Exceptionally heavy API traffic, storage, bandwidth, database usage, processing workloads, or similar infrastructure-intensive use may require additional capacity or a custom setup.

But that is a technical capacity discussion — not an arbitrary product-count upgrade rule.

We think those two things should remain separate.

Plugins remain flexible

ReadyCMS has a growing ecosystem of plugins covering integrations, analytics, AI, marketing, shipping, product feeds, automation, security, and ecommerce operations.

That model isn’t changing.

Plugins remain separate from the base subscription and may be:

  • free;
  • available with free and paid tiers;
  • subscription-based;
  • usage-based; or
  • custom-priced.

This lets businesses build the ReadyCMS setup they need instead of forcing every possible capability into a more expensive base plan.

Moving from Commerce to Growth also doesn’t mean customers suddenly have to purchase a different set of plugins.

The platform scales independently from the optional functionality you choose to add.

B2B remains an optional module

Businesses that need B2B commerce can add the ReadyCMS B2B module to eligible plans.

For Commerce and Growth, B2B is currently available for an additional €149/month.

Enterprise B2B requirements can be included in a custom agreement where appropriate.

Keeping B2B separate means a standard B2C ecommerce business isn’t paying for functionality it doesn’t use.

What happens when your store grows?

Nothing dramatic.

Your products don’t disappear.

Your checkout doesn’t stop.

Features aren’t suddenly disabled.

ReadyCMS evaluates trailing-12-month GMV over time.

Businesses that consistently move into a higher pricing band can then move to the corresponding ReadyCMS plan or Growth pricing level.

The intention is to make growth predictable rather than punish temporary spikes or seasonal sales.

We want businesses to celebrate crossing a sales milestone — not worry that their CMS is about to stop working.

What changes for existing ReadyCMS customers?

Nothing changes to your current subscription or price.

Existing ReadyCMS customers will continue on their current commercial arrangements.

The new public pricing structure applies to new subscriptions.

We’ve also updated our Terms of Service to better explain the new plan structure, GMV-based pricing, plugins, platform capacity, and how future pricing bands work.

Existing customers DON’T NEED TO TAKE ANY ACTION as a result of the launch of the new pricing plans.

A pricing model designed around growth

Pricing is always a balance.

It needs to be sustainable for the platform while remaining predictable and fair for the businesses building on it.

With the new ReadyCMS pricing, we wanted to make one thing particularly clear:

We don’t want to charge you more simply because you created more products, published more content, or made better use of the platform.

We want ReadyCMS pricing to reflect the scale of the commerce business we’re helping to run.

That gives us a much simpler structure:

  • Core for websites and content.
  • Commerce for ecommerce.
  • Growth as ecommerce becomes a larger business.
  • Enterprise when scale or requirements become genuinely custom.

All built on the same ReadyCMS platform.
