Cookie Policy
Last updated: 14 May 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ReadyCMS AB ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website https://www.readycms.io.
This Policy applies only to our own marketing website and to the ReadyCMS customer dashboard. The websites of our customers (the online stores and other sites hosted on the ReadyCMS platform) have their own cookie configurations, controlled by each site's operator; please consult the cookie banner on that site for details.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, fingerprinting techniques, and software development kits that achieve comparable purposes.
Some cookies are placed by us directly (first-party). Others are placed by our service providers acting on our behalf (third-party). Cookies have a duration — they may be deleted when you close the browser (session cookies) or stored for a defined period (persistent cookies).
2. Legal basis
We rely on the Swedish Electronic Communications Act (Lag (2022:482) om elektronisk kommunikation, "LEK"), which implements the EU ePrivacy Directive, in combination with the GDPR.
- Strictly necessary cookies are placed without consent because they are required for the service you requested (LEK §9 kap 28 §, exception).
- All other cookies are placed only after you have given your active and informed consent through the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer.
3. Categories of cookies we use
The cookie banner asks for your consent for each of the categories below, separately and independently. You may accept all, reject all, or pick and choose. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not materially affect the functionality of the public marketing website.

4. International transfers triggered by cookies
When you consent to analytics or marketing cookies, your data is transmitted to Google or Meta and may be transferred to the United States. We rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification of the respective recipients and, as a supplementary safeguard, the 2021 Standard Contractual Clauses. See the [Privacy Policy] section 7.
5. How to control cookies
There are four ways to control cookies on this site:
The cookie banner that appears on your first visit. The banner has equally prominent "Accept all" and "Reject all" buttons, as well as a "Manage preferences" panel where you can toggle each category.
The "Cookie settings" link in our website footer. Clicking it re-opens the same preferences panel at any time.
Your browser settings. All major browsers allow you to block or delete cookies; see the help pages for [Chrome], [Firefox], [Safari], [Edge].
Industry opt-out tools. Google's privacy controls are at https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-personalization, and Meta's are at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences/.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site (particularly the dashboard) from functioning.
6. Record of consent
When you make a choice in the cookie banner, we store a record of which categories you accepted, the timestamp, the version of the banner you saw, and a hash that identifies the banner state. We keep this record for 5 years as evidence of consent. The record does not include your IP address or other directly identifying data.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy if we add, remove, or change cookies. When categories change in a way that affects existing consents, the banner will reappear so that you can refresh your choices.
