ReadyCMS Version 3.0.64

Version 3.0.64 expands API editing capabilities across menus, content, customers, inventory, and other resources. It also adds safer subscription controls directly to the order page.

What's new?

1) More resources can now be updated through the API

This release expands PATCH support across several ReadyCMS API resources, giving integrations more control over existing data without requiring full replacements.

Update menus and menu items with PATCH

Menus can now be updated more flexibly through the API.

You can use PATCH to:

  • change a menu's status
  • update its title
  • edit its full item tree

This makes it easier to maintain navigation structures programmatically without replacing the entire menu.

Reassign content authors and update user bios

Custom content authors can now be reassigned through PATCH requests.

User bios are also editable through the API, making both fields available to integrations and automated content workflows.

More editable fields across ReadyCMS resources

We've expanded PATCH support for:

  • categories
  • tags
  • comments
  • reviews
  • groups
  • translations
  • gift cards

Previously, several of these resources exposed only a limited set of fields for PATCH updates. Gift cards now have their own validated PATCH support.

2) Customer search and better inventory API controls

The API now includes additional tools for working with customers and inventory.

Search customers using free text

Customer endpoints now support free-text search, making it easier for integrations and custom interfaces to find customers without relying on an exact identifier.

Get inventory statistics by location

Inventory statistics can now be retrieved per location, giving integrations better visibility into stock across individual warehouses, stores, or other inventory locations.

Safer stock movements and item updates

Stock movement types are now validated through the API, helping prevent invalid inventory operations.

Inventory items can also be edited safely through the expanded API controls.

More control, fewer workarounds

With version 3.0.64, you can manage more ReadyCMS data directly through the API.

The expanded editing options, customer search, and inventory controls make it easier to build integrations and automate everyday workflows without replacing entire resources or relying on manual updates.
