Version 3.0.61 introduces the new Dashboard Widgets plugin, bringing 29 configurable live widgets, clearer dashboard organization, contextual recommendations, and a more streamlined admin experience.
What’s new?
1) Dashboard Widgets plugin
The admin dashboard has been completely redesigned to provide a clearer and more useful overview of what is happening across your ReadyCMS instance.
The new Dashboard Widgets plugin is free to use and can be activated directly from the ReadyCMS marketplace. Once enabled, it adds a configurable dashboard widget grid without removing or limiting any existing dashboard functionality.
The ReadyCMS blog feed and platform changelog remain available alongside the widgets.
2) 29 configurable live widgets
The dashboard can now display up to 29 live widgets covering important areas of your store and admin activity, including:
- Orders and sales
- Inventory and low-stock alerts
- Customers and abandoned carts
- Marketing and email campaigns
- Subscriptions
- Team activity
- Failed tasks and system health
- ReadyCMS news and updates
Each widget can be enabled or disabled separately for each user.
This means every team member can create a dashboard that reflects their role and the information they need most. Store owners can focus on sales and orders, content teams can follow marketing and SEO signals, while technical users can monitor system activity and failed tasks.
3) Clearer dashboard organization
Dashboard widgets are arranged into six labeled sections, making it easier to scan the page and find relevant information:
- Sales
- Customers
- Marketing & SEO
- Operations & Security
- Team & Account
- News
This structure helps keep the dashboard organized, even when more widgets are enabled.
4) Contextual dashboard tips
A new contextual tip widget uses live dashboard data to surface relevant suggestions and areas that may need attention.
Depending on what is happening in your store, the widget can highlight issues such as a low conversion rate, pending orders that have not been updated, or other signals that may require closer attention.
Instead of showing generic advice, the tips are connected to the current state of your ReadyCMS instance.
5) Streamlined welcome card
The dashboard welcome card has also been simplified.
Duplicate data chips have been removed because the same information is now presented more clearly through the widgets below. The personalized greeting and contextual subtitle remain, creating a cleaner introduction to the dashboard without repeating information.
A dashboard built around your work
The Dashboard Widgets plugin turns the ReadyCMS admin home page into a flexible, real-time overview of your store.
Instead of opening multiple pages to check orders, inventory, customer activity, marketing performance, or system status, users can now bring the most relevant information together in one place.
Because widgets are configurable per user, every team member can build a dashboard that supports their own daily work.
The plugin is free to use and can be activated directly from the ReadyCMS plugin page.
