3.0.56.7 - Other improvements
This final update in the 3.0.57 series brings together a set of important improvements across feed handling, more PATCH updates, and overall system reliability.
1) Feed reliability, performance, and security improved
Feed handling has also been improved in this release.
- Large exports now run more reliably and efficiently, helping to reduce issues when handling larger feed outputs.
- Security around feed access has also been strengthened, and related internal documentation has been improved.
These updates help make feed generation more dependable while improving control and clarity around how feed access is handled.
2) API – PATCH /users accepts poster_url
The PATCH /api/users/ endpoint now allows updating a user's avatar via the poster_url field.
- Useful for scripts and integrations that need to set or change a profile picture without posting the full user profile.
3) Small fixes and reliability improvements
A few smaller but important fixes are also included in this update.
- When creating or editing a user, the Role dropdown now automatically matches the selected Account type (admin or website). This helps prevent accidentally assigning a website-only role to an admin user, or vice versa.
- Activity and audit logging have also been improved for better reliability and stability.
These fixes help reduce minor administrative errors while improving confidence in system tracking.
