1. Email Templates

Clients can now edit and manage all email templates sent from ReadyCMS. This feature helps eCommerce websites to customize their emails per language and per email type.

With this change, SMTP settings and default shop email settings are altered to create a better experience with email notifications.

All email templates can be altered with the help of merge field tags.

Available merge fields

If you want to edit the HTML code for the email template, make sure you are following the guidelines for each email template.

Email templates can have a merge field displayed as "{{FIELD_KEY}}". This "KEY" will be replaced with the real value once the email is generated.

• {{INVOICE_NUMBER}}

Account:

Templates for users/accounts can have the following merge fields:

• {{USER_NAME}}
• {{USER_FIRSTNAME}}
• {{USER_LASTNAME}}

2. Assistants (beta)

Some clients may have the opportunity to explore our new feature - Assistants. 

There are a couple of teams that will help you manage your content more efficiently, or in case you have an eCommerce option, assistants will help you with sales, organization and other important tasks.

3. Permalink structure

The Permalink structure is now updated with the customization feature. Administrators can now build the URLs with merge keys.
